Well, we got lucky this morning and saw FOUR of the Big 5 on our game drive. The only animal we missed was the leopard. We had to pause for a lunch break but planned to continue our search in the afternoon for that mysterious LEOPARD!
Drum roll please.....tada!
I was a little upset because I had the perfect shot at this leopard....and I could not steady the camera and focus it before he disappeared! Guess I won't be getting a phone call from National Geographic! Luckily, I got a second chance as he popped up from behind the bush. Talk about sending shivers up your spine.... when this guy first appeared, whoa! AND wow! AND holy #$^%! It's hard to describe how awesome this leopard looked literally 100 feet from us!
Well, game over! We've already photographed the Big 5....but we still have one more game drive tomorrow morning. Another early start....but hopefully we can add to some of the great pictures we already took today. Here's our Kruger Land Rover....see us in the front row?
