We finally got a free day to have some extra-curricular fun in Cape Town. Our three Canadien friends suggested renting 4 wheelers for the afternoon and we were game! This little adventure was going to take place on the western slopes of Kogelburg, the world's first biosphere reserve. This area is one of the richest floral regions in the entire world.
We definitely were witness to some of the most spectacular mountain and valley scenery in the world.....over every hill and around every corner offered another amazing photo-op! (it was kinda hard to take pictures, steer, and keep up with the group.....so you'll have to trust me when I tell you that it was one of the best things I've ever done and the scenery was incomparable!)
We drove through thick forests, fishtailed down the white sandy mountains, splashed through dozens of knee high water crossings, climbed rocky terrain, and only one of us got stuck through it all (Tammy!). If I won the lottery tomorrow....I'd fly everyone back over here just for a weekend on these quad bikes!
