I need to complain. To vent. To express my utter frustration.
So, we've been on vacation for two
days now.....and already Jenesa wants to do laundry before leaving
tomorrow for our cruise. Are you kidding me? On our last trip to
Europe we learned how to wash laundry out of the bathroom
sink.....because most places had no laundry services and we didn't
stay in one place very long. Unfortunately, the problem with that is
it takes a while to “air dry” all the clothes after using the sink or bathtub.
Instead of just waiting to wash and "air dry" our clothes on the cruise ship.....according to Jenesa we have to do it RIGHT NOW! Have you ever done laundry in Rome? The laundromats are few.....and far away! So we painstakingly got directions for the nearest laundromat from our hotel.....wound up hiking 25 minutes in the killer heat for exactly one load of wash.....one load! One load! ONE #$%&* LOAD! I packed enough outfits to last 10 days. We're doing laundry after 2? Seriously! Seriously? Seriously!
OK. OK. OK. I'm done venting.

*** UPDATE - found a local store
right beside the laundromat selling 1 liter bottles of Peroni beer for only $1euro. It was worth
the hassle. I apologize, Jenesa! Great idea!
